Frequently Asked Questions

What is Your Weather Policy?

Great question! Reliable pet care means walking in all sorts of weather. We know that your pet needs care regardless of if it is raining, snowing, or anything in between! However, our #1 priority is always pet safety, which is why we operate on a +30/-30 cut off system for all outdoor system. Should we exceed the cut off at anytime, We will happily transition our services to a safe indoor location. This could include indoor play time and enrichment activities for private walks or local pet friendly stores for our park trips! We will never leave you hanging.

What is Your Cancellation Policy?:

Lets face it, sometimes life happens and we find ourselves having to re-arrange our days, weeks, or months! Should you need to cancel your services that is completely okay! In order to give our staff the most accurate idea of their schedule on any given day, we politely ask that you give us a minimum of 24/hrs notice when possible and we will cancel/reschedule your services free of charge. Should you need to cancel within the 24/hr period prior to your pets service(s), we are happy to do so but you will be charged 50% of the service fee.

House Sitting Services: With all house sitting services, we kindly ask for 72 hours notice. If you should need to cancel within the 72 hour period, we are happy to do so for 50% of the service cost. This is done to adequately compensate the sitter for expected and irreplaceable income.

Note:

If we arrive to start a service and find, for any reason, that your pet is not home, we will attempt all forms of communication, wait 10 minutes, and then head out. Should this happen, you will be charged 100% of the service fee.

Are you Insured?:

While we are confident in our ‘safety first’ way of servicing our clients, we know that accidents happen and that when they do it can be a financial nightmare. That is why we are proud to say we are insured by Profurpetinsurance. With Profurpetinsurance, both ourselves and our clients will be covered by the contractor's insurance up to 10,000$ per pet and 50,000$ per occurrence.

How far in advance do I need to/can I book a service?

This is a very popular question, and understandably so! When it comes to booking services, we ask for a minimum of a weeks notice for all let-outs, cat checks, private walks, transports, hourly sitting and park trips. As for over night sitting, we ask for a minimum of 3 weeks notice. This notice helps us ensure that we can accommodate your request, and also ensures that our staff have an idea of what their schedule will look like. That being said, you are always welcome to book in advanced up to three months prior to your servicing needs. Finally, if your pet needs weekly care, we offer a template option so that not only guarantees a weekly spot, but also takes the weekly re-booking hassle off of your plate!

How do I know if my dog is a ‘park’ dog?:

This is another very good question! We are very strict about the requirements when it comes to our park dogs as the safety of your dog, other dogs, and our staff is the number 1 priority. This being said, in order to qualify as a ‘park' dog, your pup needs to:

Enjoy the park

Have basic vehicle manners

Have basic recall skills

Be mindful and respectful of dog cues

Have basic dog manners

Have NO previous dog or human bite history
